Members of the bipartisan congressional ‘super committee’ charged with cutting the deficit can agree on key tax issues as part of their work, No. 3 House Democrat James Clyburn suggested in an interview with MarketWatch. But the panel member also stood by his party’s claim that investments will be needed to help create jobs — something that’s sure to rankle Republicans.
