Dollar is ‘king’ during periods of stress

Weakening growth outlook for the euro zone and China, and inability of other currencies such as the Swedish krone and Canadian dollars to absorb large foreign inflows, betray the absence of credible alternatives where investors can seek refuge, say analysts.
