Target to open smaller-format CityTarget in Los Angeles

Target Corp. said Wednesday it will open one of its smaller-format CityTarget stores in Los Angeles next March. Minneapolis-based Target (NYSE: TGT) said in a news release that the 99,000-square-foot store will be located on the second floor of the Beverly Connection. About 200 jobs will be created. It's the third CityTarget store planned for Los Angeles, with one at Westwood Market Place scheduled to open in July and one in downtown set to open in October.
