Teletouch Communications, Inc. (OTCBB: TLLE), a leading U.S. wireless services, cellular, consumer electronics and public safety equipment provider, today announced that Aerovoice, Inc., a leading importer of wireless products recently signed a new distribution agreement appointing Teletouch’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Progressive Concepts, Inc. dba PCI Wholesale as a Master Distributor for Concept 101 AT&T®-branded consumer electronics and accessories in the AT&T (NYSE: T) agent/dealer channel. PCI Wholesale will now carry a full line of Concept 101 products, including cell phone docking stations, headphones and other accessories for Bluetooth® devices and tablets for sale to approved AT&T dealers.
David Kane, Chief Operating Officer for Aerovoice, stated, “After working closely with Concept 101, an AT&T Authorized Licensee, to bring innovative and exciting new products to consumers and announcing this new branded products relationship at the Consumer Electronics Show this January, we felt that strong, experienced distribution partners would create excitement in the channel and achieve penetration in the market. Wireless communications are an indispensable part of daily life, and we needed distribution partners that fully understand that concept. Given PCI’s unique position and nearly 30-year history in providing wireless devices, accessories and services, with a particular strength in distribution within the AT&T agent/dealer channel, we believe that PCI is a perfect choice to help launch the Concept 101 AT&T-branded product line. More than a carrier partner, PCI Wholesale is one of the most established distributors in the nation and their excellent reputation in the wireless space makes them an ideal partner for Aerovoice for Concept 101 products, as we drive sales into the AT&T indirect distribution channels.”
“When our distribution team first brought the concept of working with Aerovoice to bring AT&T-branded Concept 101 products to market in the AT&T agent/dealer channel, I couldn’t have been more excited – for the team and for our customers,” said T. A. “Kip” Hyde, Jr., President and COO of Teletouch, and CEO of Progressive Concepts. “We’ve known Aerovoice for many years. As a well-established company with a great history, we could not be more pleased to be working with Aerovoice to introduce the Concept 101 AT&T branded product line within the AT&T dealer community. PCI Wholesale’s long history in the wireless industry, superior customer support and retail training capabilities are complimentary to Aerovoice’s own substantial capabilities and we look forward to helping increase Concept 101’s position and sales in this key market segment.”
