PRLog - Jul 09, 2013 - When people talk about real-deal guitar slingers, there are very few people who come to mind, but Eldon Huff is almost always part of that distinguished list! He's been playing rock and roll for nearly three decades, and his catalog of music is no worse for the wear. From rockin concert tunes, to subtle ballads, there's no subject this artist hasn’t covered. From a small town in eastern Kentucky, Huff began playing in local joints and supporting regional artists on the road. Before he reached his 21st birthday, Eldon found himself in Nashville, TN, and within a few years he had a major deal with Sony Records. At age 26, Eldon's debut album was released to wide critical acclaim, and the offers began rolling in. Within a few years he was writing and collaborating with some of Nashville's biggest names, including a road stint with Eric Church.
By 2010, Huff was moving in a completely new artistic direction, and his music was evolving far beyond even his expectation. With a vast catalog of original music, Huff continued playing sold out shows all over the region, and that's when he reconnected with longtime friend and KPI Music A&R Director, Bo Allen. "...when I walked into his show, it was as if time had stood still" recalls Allen. "...Eldon has a distinct style and commanding stage presence, it's both compelling and infectious. One things for sure, I wouldn’t want to follow his set!"
After Allen confirmed Eldon was open to discussions around a publishing option, he introduced KPI Music President Louis Police, and the conversation began to evolve. Eldon signed with KPI Music in June, and his catalog is being plugged all over music row, along with several exciting new options for possible TV and Film sync projects in the coming months. In the meantime, Huff is booking shows and appearances all summer, while also working on new music with other KPI writers, including former Bomshel founder, Buffy Lawson!
