PRLog - Jan. 10, 2014 - PISCATAWAY, N.J. -- Darryl Catay had always been active. He had been a personal trainer and group fitness instructor for 12 years before his life suddenly changed forever. He was misdiagnosed and told the pain he felt in his calf muscle was just a muscle sprain. It was 18 months later when the pain was so unbearable that he and his life partner went to a soft tissue specialist and was told he had an Osteo Sarcoma. In the 18 months since he had first discovered it, the cancer had totally dissolved the Fibula, and was starting on the Tibia.

An aggressive Chemo therapy protocol was initiated. He was given a Chemo overdose and almost died his first night in the hospital. Yet he survived. The Sarcoma had to be removed so surgery was performed, the grafts became infected and again he almost died. The cancer metastasized and moved into his lungs, brain, and groin. This is when he was told to make preparations .However this is when Darryl decided to take his life into his own hands. He did research into the best non-lethal ways to heal his body from cancer. He Choose which one best suited him and his belief system, and followed it to the tee. He is now cancer free and in the best shape of his life and wants to share how anyone can go from cancer patient to cancer free! At An upcoming Fitness and Dance workshop!
