OBJE Wraps Up Work on New Game Development Platform

Obscene Interactive, the gaming division of OBJ Enterprises (OTCBB: OBJE), is preparing to launch a new online gaming app development platform in the coming weeks—the first step in a major expansion planned for its Novalon Games brand.

This spring, OBJE will introduce a new online outlet giving indie game developers the tools and resources needed to create, publish and distribute original apps and other media. The company will use the online portal to scout rising talent and develop new properties for release under the Novalon brand.

“This online platform is going to make it easier than ever before for independent game developers to get their creations into the marketplace,” said OBJE CEO Paul Watson.

Building out its Novalon Games brand is a top priority for OBJE as the company seeks out new games and new partnerships to further establish its foothold in a global gaming segment predicted by some industry analysts to nearly double in value by 2015 from $13.2 billion in 2013 to $22 billion. OBJE is working to build a strong roster of mobile games and strengthen the Novalon brand name.

In order to expand its own in-house game development, OBJE is vetting candidates for the position of Novalon Games’ lead developer. The company is planning an ambitious game release schedule for 2014.

OBJE is dedicated to delivering innovative and engaging gaming products for the Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) App Store and Google (NASDAQ: GOOG) Play market alongside companies such as Glu Mobile Inc. (NASDAQ: GLUU) and The9 Limited (NASDAQ: NCTY).
