Lincoln Financial Group’s Karla Munden Named One of the Top 100 Most Influential Blacks in Corporate America

Lincoln Financial Group (NYSE: LNC) announced today that Karla Munden, senior vice president and general auditor, has been named to Savoy Magazine’s 2014 Top 100 Most Influential Blacks in Corporate America. The complete list, which is published in the spring 2014 issue, highlights the nation’s top influencers and achievers from corporations such as Google, Wal-Mart, Verizon and McDonalds, among many others.

A selection committee comprised of Savoy’s editorial board and community leaders representing academia and business screened more than 500 candidates in diverse fields that influence Savoy’s readership. Fields included human resources, real estate, finance, investment banking, diversity, foundations, procurement, business development, marketing, sales, health care, manufacturing and legal. The final list selection was based not only on career accomplishments in these fields, but also the candidates’ commitment to inspiring others and bettering their local communities.
