Grand Prize Winner Announced in BloomNet® “Send to Win – Holland” Sweepstakes

Holland is known for centuries-old windmills as well as peaceful rolling countrysides and captivating flower fields boasting some of the world’s most magnificent tulips...and Holland is where the Grand Prize winner in BloomNet’s “Send to Win – Holland” promotional sweepstakes will soon be headed.

BloomNet®, a leading floral industry business service provider and one-stop destination for innovative products and best-in-class services, has announced that Randy Sciscoe, owner of Mary M’s Walnut House Flowers, has won the Grand Prize Dutch vacation. The seven-day Holland vacation for two includes airfare, hotel, VIP tours of the world-famous Keukenhof Gardens and tulip fields, a VIP tour and passes to the Aalsmeer Flower Auction (the world’s largest flower auction), and $1,000 in spending money. “I was speechless when I found out we won. This is the opportunity of a lifetime,” said Mr. Sciscoe. “To be able to go to Holland and see where those amazing tulips come from and how they are actually grown will be an unbelievable experience.”

Located in Bloomington, Indiana, Mary M’s Walnut House Flowers has been offering beautiful floral arrangements and thoughtful gifts to satisfied customers for more than 40 years. “Congratulations from all of us at BloomNet to Randy Sciscoe on winning the Grand Prize vacation to Holland,” said Mark Nance, AAF, President of BloomNet. “Randy and the entire team at Mary M’s Walnut House Flowers are yet another example of the commitment to superior service and top quality products that sets BloomNet Professional Florists apart.”

BloomNet Florists could enter the Send-to-Win Holland Sweepstakes between June 3, 2013 and December 31, 2013, through a variety of ways including sending orders via BloomNet, attending certain Floral Industry Events, Mail-in entry or interacting with BloomNet via Facebook. In addition to the Grand Prize Dutch vacation, there were monthly drawings for one of seven other prizes. For June, it was a 5-day design class at the Floriology Institute in Jacksonville, Florida including airfare and meals. The July prize was an Apple iPad and the August prize was a van wrap provided by The Color Spot. The prize for September was a Vase Expressions kit for personalizing floral vases (including printer, paper stock and maintenance waived for one year). In October, the prize was an Apple Mac Book Pro laptop. The November prize was a $1,000 credit or gift certificate to be used toward travel and/or purchases at the Napco showroom in Atlanta. And December’s prize was 4 gift certificates, each worth $250, to be used to purchase fresh floral product from WorldFlowers.com.

Besides the opportunity to win prizes, BloomNet Florists receive the highest sending rebates in the floral industry. For example, they receive a $3 rebate for up to 19 wire orders sent and a $5 rebate for 20 or more orders sent through BloomNet.
