IPO CalendarAccording to the research firm Renaissance Capital, 71 companies have already gone public this year. That's an increase of nearly 122% from this time last year. A total of 116 IPOs have been priced in 2014, which is the highest total in more than a decade.

This week's biggest IPO is that of Ally Financial Inc. (NYSE: ALLY), which plans to raise $2.5 billion on Thursday.

IPO Calendar 2014: Top 5 IPOS This Week

Ally Financial Inc. (NYSE: ALLY) is by far the biggest IPO this week as the company looks to raise approximately $2.5 billion. Ally is an auto loan provider and is a former unit of General Motors Co. (NYSE: GM) that benefitted from the 2008 federal government bailout. Based on total assets, Ally is the 19th largest bank holding company in the United States, and the company reported sales of $4.3 billion last year. In the IPO, the U.S. Department of the Treasury is selling its shares, and the company will not profit. In the deal, 95 million shares will be sold at range of $25 to $28. That gives ALLY a market value of approximately $12.8 billion. The IPO takes place on Thursday, April 10.

La Quinta Holdings Inc. (NYSE: LQ) will raise approximately $725 million by selling more than 37 million shares at a range of $18 to $21 million. La Quinta is a hotel chain that operates 830 locations in the United States. The initial public offering should give LQ a market value of approximately $2.4 billion. La Quinta was founded in 1968 and is headquartered in Irving, Texas. LQ will begin trading on the New York Stock Exchange Wednesday, April 9. The company's sales reached $874 million last year.

Enable Midstream Partners (NYSE: ENBL) will make its public debut on the New York Stock Exchange on Friday, April 11, and should have a market valuation of $8.4 billion. Based in Oklahoma City, Enable Midstream operates and develops natural gas and crude oil infrastructure assets. ENBL plans to raise $500 million by offering 25 million shares at a range of $19 to $21. In its last fiscal year, ENBL reported sales of $3.1 billion.

Phibro Animal Health Corp. (Nasdaq: PAHC) plans to offer 11.8 million shares at a range of $16 to $18 in its initial public offering. By raising $200 million, PAHC will have a market value of approximately $653 million. The company will begin trading on the Nasdaq under the ticker PAHC on Friday, April 11. Phibro manufactures food and medicinal products for farm animals and is based in Teaneck, N.J. Last year, the company reported revenue of $662 million.

Stalwart Tankers Inc. (NYSE: STST) will offer 12.5 million shares at a range of $11 to $13 when it makes its public debut on Thursday, April 10. Raising $150 million in the IPO will give the company a valuation of $188 million. Stalwart Tankers was just founded in 2013 and is in the process of acquiring and operating a fleet of mid-sized tankers used to transport chemicals. The company reported sales of $26 million last year.

Ikang Healthcare Tankers Inc. (Nasdaq: KANG) will debut on Wednesday, April 9. KANG plans to raise $142 million by offering 10.9 million shares at a range of $12 to $14.

Paycom Software Inc. (NYSE: PAYC) will debut on Friday, April 11. PAYC plans to raise $126 million by offering 6.6 million shares at a range of $18 to $20.

City Office REIT Inc. (NYSE: CIO) will debut on Friday, April 11. CIO plans to raise $100 million by offering 6.7 million shares at a range of $14 to $16.

Zoe's Kitchen Inc. (NYSE: ZOES) will debut on Friday, April 11. ZOES plans to raise $70 million by offering 5.8 million shares at a range of $11 to $13.

Lombard Medical Inc. (Nasdaq: EVAR) will debut on Friday, April 11. EVAR plans to raise $60 million by offering 3.6 million shares at a range of $15 to $18.

Farmland Partners Inc. (NYSE: FPI) will debut on Thursday, April 10. FPI plans to raise $70 million by offering 4.7 million shares at a range of $14 to $16.

Adamas Pharmaceuticals Inc. (Nasdaq: ADMS) will debut on Thursday, April 10. ADMS plans to raise $51 million by offering 3 million shares at a range of $16 to $18.

Aldeyra Therapeutics Inc. (Nasdaq: ALDX) will debut on Friday, April 11. ALDX plans to raise $25 million by offering 2.3 million shares at a range of $10 to $12.

Sysorex Global Holdings Corp. (Nasdaq: SYRX) will debut on Wednesday, April 9. SYRX plans to raise $18.3 million by offering 3.3 million shares at a range of $5 to $6.
