For the Jefferies and JMP Securities conferences, the company will be webcasting the formal portion of its participation, which may include a discussion of the company's recent business developments as well as its current financial results and financial guidance for the current year and latest quarterly period. The webcasts will be available both live and by replay, accessible from the Emergent website www.emergentbiosolutions.com under “Investors.”

For the Janney Capital Markets conference, the company will only be participating in one-on-one meetings. The conference format does not include formal presentations.
