Sun Life’s Kevin Kuzon to Lead Southeast Territory as Group Market Manager

The U.S. business group of Sun Life Financial Inc. (NYSE: SLF, TSX: SLF) has announced Kevin Kuzon as Group Market Manager and Assistant Vice President for Sun Life’s Southeast territory, encompassing the Carolinas and Georgia.

“Kevin’s new focus reflects our strategy to help our distribution team provide comprehensive advice across all product lines, Stop-Loss, Life, Disability, and Group Voluntary,” said Mike Joyce, VP and Regional Market Leader for Sun Life’s East region. “Backed by operations experts, our group market managers can now spend more time doing what they do best -- mentoring reps on-site and driving the collaboration that will provide the most innovative products and services to benefit brokers. This approach allows Sun Life to fully leverage Kevin’s expertise in our Core, Voluntary, and Stop-Loss products,” Joyce added.

With 12 years of employee benefits experience, including 5 years in distribution management, Kuzon joined Sun Life in 2009 as the Regional Manager in Denver, CO and relocated to Atlanta, GA in 2012. He received a BS in Finance from Miami University in 2002.
