Advisory Financial Group Announces New Partner - Richard Ryan

Advisory Financial Group, LLC, a leading boutique provider of business consulting services, is pleased to announce the addition of Richard J. Ryan as Partner. Mr. Ryan brings more than 30 years of experience to his new role, having most recently served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of SEACOR Holdings Inc. (NYSE:CKH). His depth of knowledge and experience, most notably in the shipping and oil and gas industries, will help to further the growth of the firm’s consulting practice both locally and nationally.

While at SEACOR Holdings Inc., Mr. Ryan was responsible for accounting, human resources, IT, corporate governance, risk management and public reporting for a $1.3 billion global provider of marine transportation equipment and logistics services. Prior to joining SEACOR in 1996, Richard worked for one of SEACOR’s Offshore Marine Services' competitors in their accounting departments in the United States, Singapore and the United Kingdom. Richard is a certified accountant in the United Kingdom, where he started his career at the United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority. He holds an MBA from the University of East Anglia.
