CSG Invotas Names Gary McGraw to Advisory Board

CSG Invotas, the enterprise security business from CSG International (NASDAQ: CSGS), today announced the addition of Gary McGraw, chief technology officer of Cigital, Inc. to its global advisory board.

CSG Invotas offers CIOs and CISOs a revolutionary approach to threat mitigation and eradication. Instead of simply detecting and analyzing intrusions, Invotas provides proven orchestration and automation solutions to respond in real time to emerging and ongoing cyber attacks. The company has enlisted recognized cybersecurity and risk management leaders to serve in an advisory capacity on market directions, trends, and technical aspects of Invotas solutions and operations. Gary McGraw is the newest member of that distinguished team.

In addition to serving as chief technology officer at Cigital, Dr. McGraw is a globally recognized authority on software security and the author of eight best-selling books. His titles include Software Security, Exploiting Software, Building Secure Software, Java Security, Exploiting Online Games, among others; he also serves as editor of the Addison-Wesley Software Security series and writes a monthly security column for SearchSecurity and Information Security magazine. Dr. McGraw offers his expertise as a strategic counselor to top business and IT executives and is a current member of the advisory boards of Raven White, Max Financial, and Wall+Main. He is also a member of the Dean’s Advisory Council for the School of Informatics at Indiana University. Dr. McGraw previously served on the Computer Society Board of Governors at the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), where he continues to produce the monthly Silver Bullet Security podcast for Security & Privacy magazine.

“We are pleased to welcome Gary McGraw to the CSG Invotas advisory board,” said Mike Henderson, president of CSG Invotas. “Gary’s reputation for innovation in software security and his influence across the global cybersecurity sector make him a valued member of our diverse and impressive team of security experts.”
