(Nasdaq: NUAN) widened third quarter losses to 17 cents per share from a loss of 11 cents per share last year and forecast current quarter earnings and revenue that fell short of analyst expectations. Shares of the speech recognition technology company dropped $1.63 to close at $16.47.
