UPDATE 1-Oshkosh cuts jobs citing lower U.S. defense spending

Oct 9 (Reuters) - Specialty truckmaker Oshkosh Corp said it would cut its defense segment workforce by about 250 to 300 hourly positions, as it continues to grapple with lower U.S. defense spending and reductions in military production.
