Local Corporation’s Chairman and CEO to be a Keynote Speaker at Europe's M2M Summit 2014

Local Corporation (NASDAQ: LOCM), a leading local search and advertising technology company, today announced that its chairman and CEO, Fred Thiel, will be a keynote speaker at the M2M Summit at the Congress Center in Düsseldorf, Germany.

Thiel will present "The Emerging New World of Intelligent Things and Collaborative Autonomous Smart Systems" on Oct. 21 at 10:05 a.m. Thiel will also participate on a panel “Breaking the Borders” at 11:15 a.m. that same day.

Now in its eighth year, the M2M Alliance will bring together key international speakers who will present and discuss the latest developments in the fields of M2M, Internet of Things and industry 4.0. More than 60 exhibitors and 1,000 participants from 30 countries are expected to attend. The topic for this year’s event will be “M2M - From Technology to Business” highlighting the benefits of today’s M2M solutions for businesses and end users.
