NEW YORK, Oct 21 (Reuters) - Raymond James Financial Inc is preparing to offer exchange-traded funds free of transaction fees, ratcheting up its competition for assets against similar programs in place at Charles Schwab Corp and TD Ameritrade Holding Corp.
