Aubrey Group Brand Fully Transitions to Sparton Corporation

Sparton Corporation (NYSE:SPA) has announced the completed transition of the Aubrey Group brand to Sparton. In doing so, the Company’s portfolio of services has expanded to include an even greater emphasis on product design and development, and its ability to provide full product lifecycle management for complex medical devices has been significantly enhanced.

“This step will give more transparency as we continue to provide a consolidated range of offerings with one face to the customer and the market alike,” said Dan Kuzniewski, Director of Corporate Marketing for Sparton. “The brand change brings clarity, allowing us to pursue mutually beneficial business engagements across a range of services to help customers bring their products to market more efficiently.”

Sparton’s services include product design and development, complex device contract manufacturing, and aftermarket services such as repair depot and spare parts support. The addition of Aubrey Group establishes the Company’s third design center (Cleveland, OH; Minneapolis, MN; Irvine, CA) with the capabilities and experience to support the medical device industry as well as similar complex products in industrial markets.

“Customers will not only have greater exposure to a range of design and engineering services, but also facilities and resources to transition into full production and product lifecycle management engagements,” said Mike Gaul, Group Vice President of Medical Design and Manufacturing Services. “While the offerings will become more transparent under the Sparton brand, the team in Irvine, CA will remain focused with the resources and expertise to drive product design and development excellence.”
