CORRECTING and REPLACING Tyler Technologies Named to Forbes “America’s Best Small Companies” List in 2014

First paragraph, second sentence of release should read: Tyler ranks No. 49 out of 100 and the company has appeared on the Forbes list eight times since 2004 (instead of Tyler ranks No. 47 out of 100 and the company has appeared on the Forbes list eight times since 2004).

TYLER TECHNOLOGIES NAMED TO FORBES “AMERICA’S BEST SMALL COMPANIES” LIST IN 2014

Tyler ranks on Forbes list for eighth time since 2004

Tyler Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: TYL) announced today that it has been named to the 2014 Forbes America’s Best Small Companies list. Tyler ranks No. 49 out of 100 and the company has appeared on the Forbes list eight times since 2004. The full list is available on the Forbes website.

To qualify as an “America’s Best Small Companies” candidate, a company must have revenues of $5 million to $1 billion, be publicly traded for at least a year, and have a share price above $5. The criteria used to judge the candidates include return on equity, sustained sales and earnings growth in the past 12 months and over five years, and stock performance versus each company’s peer group, among other measures.

Marr Jr., president and chief executive officer of Tyler Technologies. “Our consistent ranking on this list reflects the value we create for investors through solid revenue growth, which we achieve by creating long-term partnerships with our clients and performing at a high level.”
