Pacific & Western Bank of Canada Appoints Dick Carter to Its Board of Directors

Pacific & Western Bank of Canada (TSX: PWB) is pleased to announce that R.W. (Dick) Carter, FCA, C.Dir., has accepted an appointment as Director of the Board of the Bank. Mr. Carter brings to the Board a wealth of knowledge and experience in both the public and private sectors.

Mr. Carter has acquired over 30 years audit experience, including experience in the financial services industry with a major Canadian accounting firm, and has also held several senior positions in the Saskatchewan government. Most recently he served as CEO of the Saskatchewan Government’s Crown Investments Corporation.

Mr. Carter graduated as a Chartered Director (C.Dir.) from McMaster University and the Conference Board of Canada in 2013, became a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Saskatchewan in 1998, graduated from the Queens University Executive Program in 1996, and is a Member of Institutes of Chartered Accountants of Saskatchewan and Alberta. He earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Saskatchewan in 1971.
