Nuveen Closed-End Funds to Host Series of Market Update Conference Calls

Nuveen Investments, a leading global provider of investment services to institutions as well as individual investors, today announced it will host a series of closed-end fund conference calls. As part of Nuveen’s ongoing commitment to enhance the availability of clear and meaningful resources for the closed-end fund category, this monthly series will provide updates on various aspects related to Nuveen closed-end funds and the broader closed-end fund market. These calls will be open to the public, and will include question and answer sessions.

Hosting the calls will be Anne Kritzmire, Managing Director, and David Lamb, Senior Vice President, of Nuveen Closed-End Funds & Global Structured Products. Each call also will feature a Nuveen closed-end fund portfolio or product manager, or both. The specific topics will be posted on Nuveen’s website each month, in addition to dial-in and replay information.

The first call, scheduled for Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at 10 a.m. CT, will feature Doug Baker of Nuveen Asset Management, an affiliate of Nuveen Investments. Baker is head of the Preferred Securities Sector Team and part of the portfolio management team for the Nuveen Preferred Income Opportunities Fund (NYSE: JPC). Baker will provide preferred securities market and specific fund portfolio updates on the call. The dial-in number and passcode can be found in the table below, and is the same as the 2015 information.

Dial-in information will remain the same for each monthly call but the topic will change. Replays will require a new password each month. Replay passwords and monthly call topics will be posted on Nuveen’s website http://www.nuveen.com/Commentary/ConferenceCalls.aspx. Replays will be available starting approximately three business days after each call, and will remain available for one month.
