Navigant Bolsters Utility, Oil and Gas Expertise with the Addition of Five Senior Professionals

Today, Navigant (NYSE: NCI) announced the addition of five senior strategic hires to support the Firm’s expanding Energy practice. These professionals bring extensive industry experience and deep expertise in the areas of strategic planning, operational excellence, energy trading, asset management and security. This will further expand the capabilities and solution offerings of Navigant for its utility and oil and gas clients.

Burrell Kilmer, Managing Director, Washington, DC

Kilmer has extensive management consulting experience in the utilities industry, with a track record of helping clients improve business performance by developing and operationalizing business strategies that improve customer service, increase revenues, decrease costs, manage risk, and meet regulatory expectations. His work covers enterprise and operational strategy, business process improvement, operating model design, change management, and sourcing and technology strategy and implementation.

Bob Broxson, Managing Director, Houston, TX

Broxson has more than 30 years of experience in the natural gas sector and provides expert testimony and commercial and strategic advice to clients in the natural gas, refining, and power trading sectors. He advises clients on trading and risk related matters, including the analysis and valuation of energy commodity trading books and the analysis of energy portfolios on behalf of manufacturing firms, refineries, and natural gas gathering, processing, and production companies.

Matt Blizzard, Director, Folsom, CA

Blizzard specializes in providing reliability and security guidance designed to reduce risk, strengthen security posture, address evolving security threats, and close security vulnerabilities. Prior to joining Navigant, Blizzard served as the North American Electric Reliability Corporation’s (NERC) Director of Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) where he led NERC’s team of cyber and physical security professionals and assisted in the development of cyber and physical security standards.

Mike Dyson, Director, London, England

Dyson has more than 30 years of experience in oil and gas exploration and production, and has extensive technical and operational experience in subsurface, well engineering, capital project management, technology strategy and implementation, and supply chain excellence. He focuses on delivering sustainable business performance improvements in exploration and production.

Vignesh Gulasingam, Director, Houston, TX

Gulasingam has more than 18 years of experience in the North American power markets, including strategic planning, asset acquisition and divestiture, portfolio optimization, commercial analytics and forecasting and valuation. He has served as a leader at regulated and unregulated electric utilities, leading energy consulting firms, and a start-up independent power producer.
