Navigant Expands Legal Technology Solutions Expertise with the Addition of Four Senior Professionals

Today, Navigant (NYSE: NCI) announced the expansion of its Legal Technology Solutions practice with the addition of three Managing Directors: Peter Gronvall, Janalyn Schreiber and Ashley Smith as well as one Director, Kimberly Quan.

Peter Gronvall, Managing Director, Washington, DC

Gronvall has extensive experience serving both legal and corporate communities on matters that include electronic discovery, information management consulting, and technology-assisted document review. Gronvall will assist Navigant and its clients in the development and utilization of innovative technology solutions across practice areas, with particular focus on new business initiatives. He is currently an Adjunct Professor of Law at Georgetown University Law Center.

Janalyn Schreiber, Managing Director, Washington, DC

Schreiber has 20 years of experience consulting with corporate and law firm clients on implementing discovery management strategies from preservation through production, focusing on the technology, process and data privacy challenges inherent in large scale electronic discovery projects such as HSR Second Requests, class action lawsuits and government investigations. Schreiber incorporates the use of advanced analytics and technology to address security and confidentiality concerns, increase efficiencies and help mitigate risk for her clients, and has extensive experience working closely with the DOJ, HHS, the FBI and various states’ Attorneys General, to fully articulate the collection, processing and production methodologies used when assisting clients.

Ashley Smith, Managing Director, Los Angeles, CA

Ashley Smith is a data and discovery expert. From consulting on proactive information governance programs, to managing complex electronic discovery projects, she will work with Navigant clients to develop and implement custom and innovative technology solutions. She has managed multiple international on-site investigations and data collections in some of the world’s most complex regulatory environments, including the United Kingdom, Germany, France, India, China, Japan, Indonesia and the Philippines. She has served as a testifying expert in more than 200 matters, including twenty HSRSecond Requests, and several large Foreign Corrupt Practice Act (FCPA) investigations.

Kimberly Quan, Director, San Francisco, CA

Quan brings over 20 years of experience in the areas of information governance, complex business litigation, transactional analysis, client service, and business affairs. She has led electronic discovery engagements for Fortune 100 and large law firm clients at major global consulting firms. Specializing in project management and fulfillment in the eDiscovery realm, including litigation lifecycle workflow design, Kimberly has led projects with activity in the US, Canada, UK, South Korea, Japan, and Australia.
