With the official start of spring just a couple weeks away, it is time to set our sights on the summer season and what a better way to dream of summer than giving away weekend packages to the Brainerd Lakes Area, Minnesota’s premier family vacation destination.

The top three packages include lodging, water park passes, dining certificate, and passes to area attractions. Other great prizes include a moonlight cruise on Gull Lake, golf, Golf Certificates, race tickets, and Jet Ski rentals.
The packages were put together by Visit Brainerd in partnership with several local businesses including Holiday Inn Express, Baymont Inn & Suites, Rapid River Lodge & Waterpark/Comfort Suites, Arrowwood Lodge of Brainerd Lakes, Super 8, Days Inn, Boats & Beyond Rental, Pirates Cove Adventure Golf, Billy Bones Raceway, Wildwedge Golf Mini Golf & Maze, North Central Speedway, Crosswoods Golf, Lakes Fun Rental, Golden Eagle Golf Course, Boomers Pizza, Prairie Bay, Baxter’s Bar & Grill, and Destiny Cruises.
The giveaway is part of a larger campaign promoting Minnesota’s premiere vacation destination that runs March 1st through June 20th. The area offers world class mountain biking, the Midwest’s largest speedway, top 50 world golf destination, three indoor water parks, hundreds of miles of the best cycling in the country, hundreds of lakes and river full of fish, and pristine forests to explore. Ample lodging with centralized access to the entire Brainerd Lakes Area including excellent shopping and dining enhance the travel experience.
The area offers a couple new attractions as well including Safari North Wildlife Park, Destiny Cruises on Gull Lake, and the fast growing Lakes Jam Music Festival which blends rock and country for a weekend of music that will include country music’s Lee Brice, Chase Rice, and Jerrod Neimann, as well as rock’s Boston and Loverboy in 2015.
