Guidance Software Appoints Senior Vice President, Human Resources

Guidance Software, Inc. (NASDAQ:GUID), the World Leader in Digital Investigations™, today announced the appointment of Stephanie Urbach as its Senior Vice President, Human Resources. Ms. Urbach has global leadership experience in human resources across multiple industries including technology, business services, manufacturing, and consumer products. In this role, Ms. Urbach will be responsible for leading Guidance Software’s worldwide human resources organization including employee relations, development and training, recruiting, compensation and benefits.

Ms. Urbach has a successful track record of working collaboratively with management and employees to foster a dynamic work environment that ensures employees are engaged, energized and empowered. Her initial focus will be on assessing the needs of the organization and aligning human resources with business objectives. This involves attracting top talent, developing a thriving employee community, and ensuring the company’s talent and resources are prepared to meet corporate growth strategies.

Prior to joining Guidance Software, Ms. Urbach served as a human resources leader for Jacobs Engineering Group, Inc., one of the world's largest providers of technical professional and construction services, where she was responsible for leading the overall human resources function for sales and safety globally. Prior to Jacobs, she spent over 15 years at Avery Dennison in a number of human resources leadership roles, most recently as head of human resources for technology. In this role, Ms. Urbach partnered with the Chief Information Officer to oversee organizational design, talent management, staffing, communications, employee initiatives and change management.
