In trading on Friday, oil & gas exploration & production shares were relative laggards, down on the day by about 3.2%. Helping drag down the group were shares of Hercules Offshore (HERO), off about 12.9% and shares of Bonanza Creek Energy (BCEI) off about 10.1% on the day.
