Thursday Sector Laggards: Precious Metals, Shipping Stocks

In trading on Thursday, precious metals shares were relative laggards, down on the day by about 2.5%. Helping drag down the group were shares of Harmony Gold Mining (HMY), off about 7.8% and shares of Midway Gold (MDW) down about 5.7% on the day.
