2nd & Charles Teams with Soldiers’ Angels to Support U.S. Troops and Veterans

To show its support for U.S. troops and veterans, 2nd & Charles launches its second Coffee for the Troops campaign, which helps bring a taste of home to troops overseas and provides coffee free of charge to veterans at VA hospitals across the country. Customers can purchase a bag of Joe Muggs coffee to donate by visiting any 2nd & Charles store from May 3 to May 30. Soldiers’ Angels, 2nd & Charles’ partner in the campaign, will distribute the coffee, which gives veterans and overseas troops a well-deserved touch of home.

“We value and honor our partnership with 2nd & Charles and its customers,” said Jennifer Cernoch, Vice President of Operations for Soldiers’ Angels. “Without these generous donations, we would be unable to provide overseas troops and veterans with these goods. The bags of coffee donated let them know that they are not forgotten and gives them a much appreciated taste of home.”

In addition to their donation, customers will be able to write a message on each bag showing their gratitude for the sacrifices made by U.S. troops and veterans.

“This campaign shows that our customers have a sincere appreciation for everything our veterans and troops have done for this country,” said Eric Bishop, Vice President of 2nd & Charles. “We are thankful to have a partner like Soldiers’ Angels to get these donations to the veterans and soldiers that need them the most.”

For this campaign, 2nd & Charles will donate 1 bag for every 5 customer donations. The previous Coffee for the Troops campaign collected donations of over 4,000 bags from 22 stores.
