PRLog - May 4, 2015 - NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Grammy-nominated guitarist and former Nashville recording artist Bryan Austin is the new Senior Vice President of A&R at SandCastle Entertainment, CEO Richard Buckman announced today.

“I have known Bryan Austin for 20 years,” said Buckman. “He is an all-around class act and is a huge addition to our SandCastle team.”

Austin has established himself as a performer, producer and a songwriter, while enjoying a successful career playing guitar for such legendary performers as Steve Wariner, T, Graham Brown, Trick Pony, Josh Turner and currently country superstar Clint Black.

In 1996 Austin was nominated for a Grammy for his contribution to the guitar instrumental “The Brickyard Boogie” from Steve Wariner’s “No More Mr. Nice Guy” album.

“Hard work and perseverance pays off. To be heard you gotta turn it up. And I’m not talking about just the music. The passion, hard work and dedication have to be cranked up to 11,” Austin says. “I believe my best work and contributions are still yet to come!”

His recording career includes a stint as a recording artist in the early 90’s with Liberty/Patriot Records. He released a self-titled album produced by legendary producer Keith Stegall. His tours included stops in Japan, Germany and Italy. He opened shows in the U.S. with artists such as John Anderson, Patty Loveless, Hal Ketchum, The Mavericks and many others.

As a producer Bryan now brings his expertise and experience to up-and-coming artists as well.

“Working with writers and artists to bring life to their songs has become a fulfilling and rewarding opportunity,” said Austin.  “The key to being successful in Nashville is to continue to evolve with the music, while staying true to who you are. I look forward to guiding and imparting my wisdom and experience to the new artists and writers who will be joining the Sandcastle roster in the future."

Buckman said Austin not only brings unparalleled expertise, experience and business connections to SandCastle, but integrity and a work ethic that is sure to garner success.
