Thursday Sector Laggards: Metals & Mining, Precious Metals

In trading on Thursday, metals & mining shares were relative laggards, down on the day by about 1.8%. Helping drag down the group were shares of Peabody Energy (BTU), down about 7% and shares of Arch Coal (ACI) off about 6.4% on the day.
