Canon Information and Imaging Solutions, Inc. Partners with BOX to Build New Industry Solutions

Canon Information and Imaging Solutions, Inc. (CIIS), a wholly owned subsidiary of Canon U.S.A., Inc., today announced a partnership with enterprise content management and collaboration platform BOX (NASDAQ: BOX). The partnership brings together Canon’s imaging and cloud technologies with Box’s rich platform capabilities to offer integrated solutions for vertically targeted industries, such as government, non-profit, healthcare, retail, legal and financial services.

The partnership will focus on the integration of Canon’s portfolio of document imaging solutions with the Box platform to enable businesses to securely collaborate and easily manage content in Box. In addition, with an eye toward the future, both companies will look beyond the office to explore opportunities in industries such as healthcare, surveillance, and entertainment.
