Janus Capital Group Inc. Appoints Arnold Pinkston to Its Board of Directors

Janus Capital Group Inc. (“JCG”) (NYSE: JNS) today announced that Arnold Pinkston has been appointed to its board of directors, effective January 21, 2016.

Prior to his retirement, Mr. Pinkston was executive vice president and general counsel for Allergan, Inc., a multi-specialty health care company, from October 2011 to March 2015. Prior to Allergan, Mr. Pinkston served as senior vice president, general counsel and secretary for Beckman Coulter from 2005 to 2011 and from 1994 to 2005 served in a variety of positions at Eli Lilly and Company, including vice president and deputy general counsel. Additionally, Mr. Pinkston has served as a member of the board of directors of OneOC, a non-profit company, since 2009, serving as chairman in 2013 and 2014.
