Rent-A-Center Inc. (Nasdaq: RCII) fell to a loss for the third quarter of 8 cents per share compared with earnings of 49 cents per share in the year ago period and forecast current quarter as well as full year earnings below estimates. The stock price plunged $7.50 to $18.28.
