On the downside
Third quarter earnings and revenue for Sierra Wireless (Nasdaq: SWIR) fell short of expectations.
Marinus Pharmaceuticals (Nasdaq: MRNS) priced its public offering of 5 million common shares oat the discounted price of $6.00 per share.
Pixelworks (Nasdaq: PXLW) narrowed losses for the third quarter but revenue slipped to miss expectations.
In the broad market, declining issues outpaced advancers by a margin of nearly 5 to 3 on the NYSE while advancers edged out decliners by more than 5 to 3 on Nasdaq. The broader S&P 500 held steady at 2,099. Bitcoin held steady at $368.
