Guidewire Named Among Top Three Best Places to Work by Glassdoor

Guidewire Software, Inc. (NYSE:GWRE), a provider of software products to Property/Casualty (P/C) insurers, today announced that it has been honored with a Glassdoor Employees’ Choice Award for the Best Place to Work in 2016. Guidewire ranked third on this year’s list, making it the second consecutive year the company has been ranked in the top 10 nationwide list. The Employees' Choice Awards program, now in its eighth year, relies solely on the input of employees, who elect to provide feedback on their jobs, work environments, and companies via Glassdoor.

"We're honored that Glassdoor and our people have again recognized Guidewire as a great employer," said Marcus Ryu, chief executive officer, Guidewire Software. "Success in our mission to serve a vitally important industry and providing long-term professional fulfillment for our people are two sides of the same coin.”

The Best Places to Work award from Glassdoor is determined using company reviews shared by U.S.-based employees between November 3, 2014 and November 1, 2015. To be considered in the category for large companies, an organization must have at least 1,000 employees and have received at least 75 company reviews during the window of eligibility. The final list is compiled using Glassdoor's proprietary algorithm and takes into account quantity, quality and consistency of reviews. “Everyone wants a job and company they love,” said Robert Hohman, co-founder and chief executive officer, Glassdoor. “At Glassdoor, we're working to make that a reality for the millions of job seekers around the world who are turning to Glassdoor for information they can't find anywhere else. Programs like the Employees' Choice Awards allow us to honor employers that stand out for their efforts in providing an enjoyable work environment and culture.”
