Sears Hometown Stores Season of Wishes Campaign to Benefit Make-A-Wish Continues with A Very Merry Santa Sale

The “Season of Wishes” holiday campaign at Sears Hometown and Outlet Stores, Inc. (NASDAQ: SHOS) continues with “A Very Merry Santa Sale”, December 17-24, at Sears Hometown Store locations nationwide. Customers who donate $5 to Make-A-Wish® upon checkout will receive an additional five percent off everything storewide.

“With the support of our customers, Sears Hometown Stores will be able to help more children with life-threatening medical conditions experience the powerful, and oftentimes, life-changing impact of a fulfilled wish,” said William Powell, Sears Hometown and Outlet Stores, Inc. Chief Executive Officer, President. “A Very Merry Santa Sale is bringing us even closer to reaching our goal of raising $1 million for Make-A-Wish.”

Since partnering with Make-A-Wish last holiday season, Sears Hometown and Outlet Stores has raised more than $995,000 for the wish granting organization.

The “Season of Wishes” holiday campaign invites customers to any of the 1,200-plus Sears Hometown Store, Sears Outlet Store, Sears Home Appliance Showroom and Sears Appliance & Hardware locations nationwide to make incremental donations of $2, $5 or $10 in support of the campaign before December 31.
