Zumiez Teams up with Starmount to Reinvent Its Point of Sale and Deliver an Agile Omnichannel Experience

(NASDAQ: ZUMZ), a leading specialty retailer of apparel, footwear, accessories and hardgoods for young men and women who want to express their individuality through the fashion, music, art and culture of action sports, streetwear and other unique lifestyles, to launch the Starmount Customer Engagement Suite™ and point of sale (POS) solution to re-invent the shopping experience.

The Starmount Customer Engagement Suite is the industry’s first fully integrated enterprise solution designed to provide retailers and their customers with a POS experience that includes full omnichannel capabilities. The Customer Engagement Suite provides a series of solutions that support compelling shopping experiences, more efficient store operations, and seamless access to data, inventory and capabilities throughout the retail enterprise. Meeting the Omnichannel Needs of an Innovative Retail Culture

To meet its goal of selling to customers anytime, anywhere, via any mix of channels the customer chooses, Zumiez needed a flexible, customer-focused platform consistent with the company’s innovative culture.

Mobile engagement tools and integrated loyalty programs will enable associates to provide a richer in-store experience with access to comprehensive product information, enterprise-wide inventory visibility, and the ability to process transactions anywhere on the store floor.
