KBW Announces Key Addition to Investment Banking Group

Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, Inc. (KBW), a full-service, boutique investment bank and broker-dealer that specializes in the financial services sector, and a wholly owned subsidiary of Stifel Financial Corp. (NYSE:SF), today named Frank Cicero a Managing Director in the Depository Investment Banking Group. Mr. Cicero joins KBW as a senior member of the team and will be responsible for merger and strategic advisory services, recapitalizations, restructurings and capital markets transactions for banks and thrifts.

Mr. Cicero comes to KBW following five years with Jefferies where he was Global Head of the Financial Institutions Group. He previously was the head of investment banking coverage for banks at Barclays Capital and Lehman Brothers. He began his career at KBW, spending seven years with the firm.
