UPDATE 1-U.S. police out in force in wake of deadly Brussels attack

NEW YORK, March 22 (Reuters) - Police in major U.S. cities stepped up security on Tuesday after more than 30 people were killed in attacks in Belgium, although officials said there was no evidence of specific threats to the United States.
