ConAgra Foods Names Johan Nystedt Treasurer and Investor Relations Officer

ConAgra Foods, Inc. (NYSE:CAG) today announced Johan Nystedt has been appointed vice president, treasurer and investor relations officer, effective April 11, 2016. Mr. Nystedt will be based in Chicago and report to chief financial officer, John Gehring.

Mr. Nystedt joins ConAgra Foods from Levi Strauss & Co., where he most recently served as corporate treasurer and vice president of finance, and led the company’s global treasury, business development and investor relations functions. Prior to joining Levi Strauss in 2011, he spent four years at Kraft Foods Inc., as the assistant treasurer and six years at Altria Group, Inc., in global corporate finance. Mr. Nystedt earned a master’s degree in Economics and Business Administration from the Stockholm School of Economics in Stockholm, Sweden.

ConAgra Foods has combined the roles of treasurer and head of investor relations, and Mr. Nystedt will be working closely with Scott Messel, senior vice president, treasurer, and Chris Klinefelter, vice president, investor relations, to transition their responsibilities over the next several months. Mr. Messel and Mr. Klinefelter will be leaving the company in the fall to pursue other interests.
