Comcast Opens XFINITY WiFi Hotspots to Aid Residents and Emergency Personnel During Houston Flood Recovery

Comcast today announced that it will open up its XFINITY WiFi hotspots throughout the Greater Houston area to anyone who needs them – including non-Comcast customers – to help residents and emergency personnel during the Houston flood recovery.

Non-XFINITY Internet customers should search for the “xfinitywifi” network name in the list of available networks and follow the on-screen prompts.

Comcast has opened its WiFi hotspots and users will be able to renew their complimentary sessions every two hours through Thursday, April 21.
