Appointment at Loro Piana

Antoine Arnault is pleased to announce the appointment of Fabio d’Angelantonio as CEO of Loro Piana, effective September 1st, 2016.

“I am excited to have Fabio take the helm at Loro Piana. He has a great track record in developing brands, retail operations and people across the globe. He also brings a warm personality and Italian touch to continue the development of Loro Piana at the very high end of ready- to-wear and textile products,” declared Antoine Arnault.

“3 years after the acquisition of Loro Piana, I think it is safe to say that Matthieu Brisset and I have accomplished the mission given to us by Sergio and Pierluigi Loro Piana: to integrate their exceptional company smoothly into LVMH Group while respecting at all times the values of the brand and the great people working there.

“I would like to particularly thank Matthieu for his dedication, his great human values, the quality of the results achieved, and the passion with which he managed this complex integration and positioned the company for the future. He is a key asset for LVMH, and his new position within the Group will be announced shortly.”

An Italian native, Fabio held senior positions in sales and marketing between 1995 and 2004, inter alia at Editions Hemma in Brussels, then in Milan at Ciaoweb - Internet portal of the Fiat Group - and Indesit Company. In 2005, he joined Luxottica as Chief Marketing Officer, in charge of strategic and operational marketing activities for all Product and Retail brands. On top of this role, he has been also appointed in 2009 President of Sunglass Hut, leading this 1-billion-euros global brand in sunglasses retail of the Luxottica Group.
