Frontier Communications Appoints Michael D. Saperstein, Jr. Vice President of Regulatory Affairs

Frontier Communications Corporation (NASDAQ:FTR) announced today the appointment of Michael D. Saperstein, Jr. as vice president of regulatory affairs.

Saperstein will be based in Washington, D.C., and will report to Executive Vice President, External Affairs Kathleen Abernathy. Saperstein will be responsible for developing and executing Frontier’s federal regulatory affairs strategy.

Experienced in federal regulatory policy, Saperstein has a long history in the telecommunications industry. Saperstein joins Frontier from the Cybersecurity and Communications Reliability Division of the Public Safety and Homeland Security Bureau of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). At the FCC, he provided strategic guidance for enabling the Commission’s cybersecurity engagement goals and building broad coalitions across federal, national-security departments and private-sector stakeholders.

Saperstein received his Juris Doctor from the Catholic University of America’s Columbus School of Law. He earned his Bachelors of Arts, magna cum laude from the University of Notre Dame. Saperstein is a member of the Maryland Bar and the Federal Communications Bar Association.
