AMC Theatres® to Offer “Fun and Fundraising” Early Screenings of Bad Moms

AMC Theatres® (NYSE: AMC) is offering parent associations the opportunity to organize fundraising events through early movie screenings of the highly-anticipated summer comedy Bad Moms. Beginning Wednesday, July 27, two days before the movie’s official release, parent groups at 350 AMC locations in 78 markets can enjoy Bad Moms and raise money for their organizations.

Groups such as parent-teacher organizations and parents of youth sports teams can create fundraisers out of these early screenings by adding a donation per ticket onto the ticket price, which varies by location. Interested groups can contact AMC group sales at www.amctheatres.com/forget-the-bake-sale for more information. Tickets for all other Bad Moms opening weekend showtimes are available beginning June 27. For more information and to purchase tickets, guests can visit https://www.amctheatres.com/movies/bad-moms.

“Christina Applegate’s bake sale briefing sets up the hilarious Bad Moms trailer that has been viewed and shared more than 10 million times,” said Elizabeth Frank, executive vice president and chief content & programming officer, AMC Theatres. “With that kind of enthusiasm, we thought, ‘forget the bake sale! Let moms fundraise at the movies.’”

“Since STX Entertainment’s launch last year, we’ve partnered with AMC Theatres to promote movie-going in innovative ways,” said Adam Fogelson, chairman, motion picture group, STX Entertainment. “I’m excited AMC wanted to offer groups the opportunity to see Bad Moms early together, to laugh at the crazy that busy parents will find all too familiar, and to love the fantasy of breaking all the rules.”
