Polycom Inc. (Nasdaq: PLCM) terminated its merger agreement with Mitel Networks (Nasdaq: MITL) in order to be acquired by private equity firm Siris Capital. Shares of Polycom soared $1.38 to close at $12.25 while Mitel Networks stock climbed $1.19 to close at $7.21.
