Corporate inversions help make 2015 record year for foreign ‘investment’ in U.S.

Foreign acquisitions of U.S. companies hit a record in 2015 and many of the deals were tied to so-called corporate inversions in which American firms moved their headquarters overseas to countries such as Ireland to take advantage of lower tax rates.
