Yahoo’s Tumblr looks to monetize, places ads on blogs

The next time you look at your favorite Tumblr blog, you might see an ad. On Thursday, Tumblr began placing ads on its users’ blogs, and in the next couple months, nearly every Tumblr blog could have an ad on it.
