National Planning Holdings, Inc. Recruits Integrated Inc. Wealth Advisors to Broker-Dealer and Advisory Platforms

National Planning Holdings®, Inc. (NPH), the nation’s fourth-largest independent broker-dealer network1, today announced the successful recruitment of Integrated Inc. Wealth Advisors (Integrated) to the broker-dealer and fee-based advisory platforms of National Planning Corporation (NPC), an independent broker-dealer within the NPH network of firms. Integrated, an independent financial advisory practice based in Edina, Minnesota, has approximately $256 million of commission- and fee-based advisory client assets, as of August 2016. Integrated will also align with the office of supervisory jurisdiction (OSJ) of Douglas Ritter, an NPC-affiliated entity, for additional back and middle office support services, including compliance supervision, business coaching for advisors and administrative services.

“We are honored to welcome the Integrated team to the NPH organization and to our NPC member firm, where they can enjoy the advantages of true independence, open-architecture platforms for investment solutions that have passed a rigorous due diligence process and the high level of quality support services that they want in a broker-dealer,” said Scott Romine, president and chief executive officer of NPH. “We are proud that NPH can offer the personalized attention and practice management assistance that can help their company succeed and grow, while providing the critical tools and resources that can help their clients achieve their long-term financial goals.”

Integrated provides comprehensive financial planning and wealth management services for mass affluent and high net worth retail clients across the country, with a particular emphasis on the Midwest region of the United States. The practice offers a range of services include personal financial planning, investment advisory, retirement planning, estate planning, tax deferral planning and a variety of insurance solutions*. Established in 1992, Integrated is led by its founder and president Jeffrey M. Berg, an industry veteran with over 50 years of financial services experience. The practice today encompasses a staff of 11, including six financial advisors as well as five support professionals.

“We are thrilled to join with NPH and its member firm, NPC. From top to bottom, we have been extremely impressed with everything and everyone we have encountered,” said Berg with executive vice president, Tom Berg. “The enhanced level of service, the hands-on, engaged expertise and superior processes we have found in every department, from transition assistance to compliance, and their exceptional practice management and technological resources, such as the Advisor Dashboard, have reinforced our conviction that making the switch to NPC was an outstanding choice. We are also encouraged that being part of NPH will facilitate our aspirations to add new advisors and grow our firm, and we appreciate the financial strength which underpins their entire organization. In addition, we have been greatly assisted by the Douglas Ritter OSJ and look forward to their continued support.”

John C. Johnson, president and chief executive officer of NPC, commended Integrated's extensive due diligence process prior to joining the NPC broker-dealer platform.

“We are pleased that after their extensive search for a new broker-dealer, the Integrated team has chosen to transition to NPC,” said Johnson. “We look forward to providing Integrated with the freedom they were seeking to provide their clients with outstanding independent advice and product solutions they can sincerely believe in, as well as a cooperative environment to enable them to grow their firm and the comprehensive support positioning them to provide their clients with personalized financial planning and wealth management services.”
