The toll-free number is 1-800-327-7451.
The hotline is staffed by behavioral health professionals offering resource materials and counseling services to help people deal with the feelings of fear, sadness, anger and hopelessness that can occur related to natural or manmade disasters.
In addition, tip sheets with resources specific to hurricane preparedness, response and recovery can be found on Magellan Health’s website.
